
How was Pearl Harbor a Turning Point in World War Two?
This DBQ is intended for a high school American History class. Students will be shown a series of primary and secondary sources, including articles, newspapers, and photographs, in order to determine how the bombing of Pearl Harbor affected American involvement in World War Two.
Students should begin with the background page. This page will highlight when and how pearl harbor was attacked, it will also give insight to how America responded afterwards.
Once students have reviewed background information, there will be a series of documents to be analyzed. Students should use those documents to form their essay response on the affects of pearl harbor.
